We're pleased to announce the selection of four worthy non-profits to help during our next GiveCamp, October 26th-28th!

First Congregational Church Preschool's mission is to provide a low- cost, high quality early childhood education to children ages three to six.

Mile High Weimaraner Rescue (MHWR) is an organization operated solely by volunteers dedicated to the welfare of the Weimaraner breed. MHWR is a rescue group who operates on donations. When a Weimaraner is placed in a new home an adoption fee is required in order to help with the expenses of rehoming Weimaraners. Expenses incurred by rescue include: spaying, neutering, vaccinations, veterinary care, microchips, heartworm testing, collars, leashes, tags, crates, and dog beds. Expenses not tied directly to any one dog include: advertising, books, and administrative expenses (e.g. printing and mailing).

MHWR is located in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area, however we have branches in Wichita, KS and Rapid City, SD. We will only adopt a Weimaraner to those living within the following states: Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico, Utah and South Dakota. If someone wishes to adopt a Weim from our rescue group, they need to travel to the location to transport the dog. We do not have a facility to house the Weimaraners that are available for adoption. Available Weimaraners are kept in their own home, in a foster home, in a boarding kennel, or in a shelter until they can find their new home.

Stepping Stones of Windsor is a small faith-based non-profit based in Windsor, Colorado. We provide emergency monetary assistance to people who reside in the Windsor RE-4 School District, and who have a notice of eviction or utility shutoff. We helped 67 families in 2011, of which 117 were children, for a total of $22,094. Approximately 30% of that came from grants, the rest is fundraised through "Soup Lunches" at various churches in the community, and through genereous donations from individuals, local businesses, churches, and the Town of Windsor

Pikes Peak Children's Museum is founding a new children's museum to open in Colorado Springs with a goal open date of December 31, 2014.
