The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federally funded program that provides food to low-income households through a supplemental food box. The USDA foods are delivered to food banks across the state and then distributed to local food pantries and soup kitchens that distribute directly to the people.

Visit CDHS TEFAP to check eligibility and apply or contact your local food pantry to ask if they distribute TEFAP foods.
