Since 2009, Hunger Free Colorado has helped implement solutions toward a healthier Colorado. And as a nonprofit, we have relied on the support of dedicated community members, partners and corporate neighbors to reduce hunger in Colorado. Creating change requires leadership, but it also takes more than one organization. It takes a community who agrees that hunger is unjust and that immediate action is needed.
That dedication, even during the hardship of a global pandemic, is apparent in the support we’ve received this year. Our annual fundraiser, Hike to End Hunger, went virtual and still had over 200 participants and four dedicated corporate sponsors. ezCater, Denver 7, CPI Card Group and Signature Windows stepped up to help spread awareness on the growing issue of hunger and fund our sustainable hunger solutions. Please take a minute and read what our corporate sponsors are saying about hunger, below!
ezCater
ezCater has worked diligently through the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that people in Denver are fed at work. Their recent launch of Relish allows employees to access meals from local restaurants without leaving
their office.
“Giving back to the community is a core tenet, and we use our resources to fight hunger, both locally and nationally. Food is a basic need and no person or child should bear the stress of food insecurity. Our goal is to help eradicate food insecurity, by partnering with the organizations doing this important work every day,” said ezCater. ezCater is dedicated to partnering with hunger-based organizations.
“When ezCater opened a Denver office in 2018, our small team began reaching out to local charitable partners such as Jeffco Eats, GrowHaus, The Urban Farm, and more,” said ezCater. “After connecting with a few organizations, we surveyed our employees for recommendations, the recommendations doubled both our partnerships and the number of volunteer opportunities. Food is a basic need and no person or child should bear the stress of food insecurity. Our goal is to help eradicate food insecurity, by partnering with the organizations doing this important work every day.”

Denver 7
In addition to sponsoring the Hike to End Hunger, Denver 7 partnered with Arc Thrift Stores and Volunteers of America to collect more than 62 tons of food and raise over $55,000 for the Feed Colorado Food Drive!
“Denver7 is committed to working hand in hand with the people we serve to build an even better community,” said Denver 7. “Ending hunger in our state is a great way to do that. We’re proud to continue our partnership with Hunger Free Colorado, working to ensure no Coloradan has to worry about where their next meal is coming from.”
CPI Card Group
CPI Card Group and its employees have supported the work of Hunger Free Colorado in many ways. “Due to the devastating impact of COVID-19, it is especially important to help our community to provide funds for all Colorado families to receive food,” said CPI Card Group. “We understand that increased job loss and the early closure of schools has increased the need for the resources that Hunger Free Colorado provides. Team CPI is committed to raising awareness and funds to help all efforts to end hunger in Colorado.”
Signature Windows
Signature Windows, a longtime supporter of Hunger Free Colorado believes that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. “With the recognition of the insane amount of food waste, businesses and their leaders should be forces for good and lead by example,” said Signature Windows.
