In early May, approximately 20 volunteers dedicated their weekend to build web sites for local non-profits. It was great seeing local techies donate their own time to help six worthy organizations.
Brenda McNulty with the Mountain View Young Marines had this to say:
Colorado Give Camp blessed our organization with a functional and cosmetically pleasing website which is extremely effective in promoting the Mountain View Young Marines. They accomplished in one weekend what I have been trying to do for a year and a half. Together with Colorado Give Camp the website was created and I had 8 new inquiries into our unit within a week! It makes me wonder how many youth missed receiving our unit details because we didn't have a functioning website. I sincerely appreciated the hand off and training. I am confident that our staff can maintain and update the website often to make it an effective tool both for current members but prospective recruits.
